Neptune APP Capacitors use double hazy, double-thick polypropylene film dielectric between 99.35% pure annealed aluminium foil electrodes with extended foil construction, giving soldered power leads strong contact against heavy inrush and discharge currents. Impregnated with biodegradable NPCB and hermetically sealed, they offer a 3 KV insulation level and life expectancy of 150,000+ hours, with impregnating oil enhancing dielectric strength and cooling.
