Absolutely. Our in-house engineering team assists with motor sizing, drive selection, application engineering, and installation guidance. We help you choose the right motor type (induction, servo, gear motor), frame size, mounting configuration, enclosure protection (IP rating), insulation class, and drive specifications based on your load characteristics, duty cycle, and operating environment. This technical consultation is a core part of our value proposition as an industrial motors & drive distributor.
A VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) controls motor speed continuously across a range, making it ideal for applications requiring variable speed such as pumps, fans, and compressors. A soft starter only controls the starting and stopping phase of a motor — once at full speed, it bypasses the electronics. Soft starters are more cost-effective when variable speed is not required, only soft start and motor protection are needed. Our application engineers can recommend the right solution based on your load profile and budget.
